Freeze-dried fruit VS Fresh fruit
What is the process of freeze drying?
- With a freeze dryer, the fruit is frozen to minus 30 or 40 degrees and covered with many tiny ice crystals.
- After the air is pumped, the pressure is lowered, and the sublimed water vapor is drained away.
- After dozens of hours, the food loses moisture content.
