Beet FAQs
Q1:I’ve tried beet powders before and they tasted extremely earthy. Is yours any different?
A: Yes. We control earthy flavour from raw material selection through processing, rather than masking it with artificial flavours. Our deodorized beetroot powder has a milder taste and smoother texture, making it easier to mix into smoothies, drinks, and everyday foods.
Q2: Other beet powders clump and leave gritty residue at the bottom of my cup. How is yours?
A: We adopt ultra-fine grinding technology. Both beetroot powder and beet juice powder blend smoothly, dissolve instantly in cold water with no gritty sediment.
Q3: Color varies widely between batchesfrom other brands. Do you add artificial coloring?
A: We own planting bases in Qinghai and processing factories. Standardized production ensures consistent colour. We add zero artificial dyes, and all colour comes naturally from betalains.
Q4: Are your products organic and non-GMO?
A: Our beet powders are organic and all raw materials are non-GMO. Relevant organic certification documents can be provided upon request.
Q5: Does your powder contain hidden maltodextrin or anti-caking agents?
A: Our organic beet powder contains only organic beets. There are no maltodextrin, anti-caking agents or preservatives added.
Q6: Can I take beetroot products every day?
A: Yes. Beetroot products can be used as part of a balanced daily diet. We recommend following the suggested serving size and maintaining a varied and healthy diet.
Q7: Will my urine or stool turn red after consumption? Should I worry about it?
A: Reddish coloured urine or stool is known as beeturia, caused by natural betalain pigments. It is completely harmless
Q8: What is the recommended daily serving for nitrate intake of beetroot powder?
A: Our recommended daily serving is 20 g beetroot powder, which delivers approximately 400 mg of nitrates.
Q9: Why does powder turn darker red after opening? Has it gone bad?
A: Natural betalain pigments may darken slightly with exposure to air. This is normal oxidation and does not mean spoilage. Keep
tightly sealed to slow colour change.
Q10: Is your beetroot powder vegan,gluten-free and free from added sugar?
A: Yes. Our beetroot powder is 100% plant-based, making it suitable for vegan and vegetarian diets. It is naturally gluten-free and contains no added sugar, sweeteners. Any naturally occurring sugars come only from the beet itself.
Q11:Is this made from whole beetroot or beet juice?
A: We offer both whole beetroot powder and beet juice powder. Whole beetroot powder retains the natural fiber of the root,
while beet juice powder provides a more concentrated source of naturally
occurring beet nutrients. Different applications may benefit from different
ingredient types.
Q12: How should I store the powder?
A: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal the package tightly after each use to help maintain freshness and reduce exposure to moisture and air.
Q13: Is your beetroot powder tested for heavy metals and contaminants?
A: Yes. We conduct strict quality control
throughout the production process. Our products are tested for safety indicators including heavy metals, pesticides and microbiological parameters
according to customer requirements.
Q14: How much beetroot concentrate should I take?
A: For exercise, 8 mL provides 400 mg of dietary nitrate, a commonly studied dose in beetroot and nitrate research. For everyday use, a smaller serving may be appropriate depending on your individual needs. Always follow the serving instructions on the product label.
Q15: How much nitrate is in 1 mL of this beetroot concentrate?
A: Each 1 mL provides 50 mg of dietary nitrate. This means an 8 mL serving provides 400 mg of dietary nitrate.
Q16:Can I mix the beetroot Concentrate with other drinks?
A: Yes. Mix it with water, juice, smoothies, sports drinks, or other beverages.
Q17: When should I take beetroot concentrate before a workout?
A: Take it about 2–3 hours before exercise.
Q18: Why didn't I feel anything after taking beetroot powder?
A: A lack of noticeable sensation doesn't necessarily tell you whether a physiological effect occurred. Individual responses vary, and research outcomes depend on factors including nitrate exposure, exercise type and training status.
Q19: Is beetroot powder good for exercise?
A:Research suggests dietary nitrate from beetroot can benefit certain exercise outcomes, including some measures of endurance and high-intensity performance. However, the effects aren't universal and can vary between individuals and types of exercise.
Q20: Does beetroot powder help with pumps?
A:There is a plausible connection through the nitrate–nitrite–nitric oxide pathway and vascular regulation, but individual experiences with pumps vary
Q21: Can beetroot powder replace L-citrulline?
A:Beetroot and L-citrulline are different ingredients and are involved in different metabolic pathways. Some consumers use them separately or together, but personal reports aren't enough to establish that one is universally better
Q22: Why do some people respond to beetroot while others don't?
A:Research suggests that training status, exercise type, nitrate exposure and supplementation strategy can all influence outcomes. Individual biological variation may also contribute to different experiences.
